Mission and Values

To offer the hope of Jesus Christ through love by meeting people at the point of their need and loving them enough to not leave them there. To that end; White Marsh Baptist Church is a small Church with a big heart. As a community of believers, we offer the hope of Jesus Christ to our community and the world by putting love into action. This love is exemplified by meeting people at the point of their need. It is further shown by loving these same people enough to not leave them there, but helping them grow and mature through;

Worship – To be a body of believers that gathers regularly to worship, pray, praise and respond in obedience to the Lordship of Jesus Christ that He might be glorified. (Matthew 4:10)

Education/Nurture – To be a fellowship of loving and caring people dedicated to the teaching of God’s Word which leads to consistent Christian living, while growing toward Christian maturity. (Colossians 3:16, II Timothy 2:2, 1 John 1:3)

Ministry/Service – To be a family of believers that ministers unselfishly to persons in the community and the world in Jesus’ name in order to meet their needs and attempt to eliminate pain, burdens, and suffering; and to point them to faith in Jesus Christ. (II Corinthians 5:18; Acts 6:4; Matthew 25:35,36,40)

Proclamation/Witness – To be a dynamic fellowship of believers empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ with as many people as possible in our church, our community, on our jobs and through-out the world. (Romans 10:14-15; Acts 1:8)
